Pecan Shorts
Cookies, Bars, and Candies
Ingredients
- Flour (Sifted)2 Cups
- Salt1/2 Teaspoon
- Ground Pecans2 Cups
- Butter1 Cup
- Powdered Sugar (Sifted)1/2 Cup
- Vanilla1 Teaspoon
- Cold Water3 Teaspoons
Instructions
1. Mix flour, salt, and nuts.
2. Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add vanilla and water. Mix.
3. Add flour mixture gradually and mix.
4. Chill. Shape into balls and/or fingers.
5. Bake on ungreased sheets at 325 degrees about 20 minutes.
6. While cookies are warm, sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
