Spaghetti Pie Italiano

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti (Cooked, Drained)7 oz.
  • Eggs (Beaten)2
  • Parmesan Cheese (Grated)1/4 Cup
  • Parsley Flakes2 Tablespoons
  • Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)2 Cups (8 oz.)
  • Tomato Paste1 Can (6 oz.)
  • Water1 Cup
  • Mushrooms (Drained)1 Can (4 oz.)
  • Butter1 Tablespoon
  • Dried Oregano1/2 Teaspoon
  • Garlic Salt1/2 Teaspoon

Instructions

Combine spaghetti, eggs, parmesan cheese, and parsley. Layer 1/2 of spaghetti mixture and mozzarella cheese in greased 9" pie plate. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees 12 minutes.

Combine tomato paste, water, mushrooms, butter, and seasonings; simmer 10 minutes. Cut pie into weges; serve with sauce. Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese, if desired.
