Pork Chops with Sour Cream

A family favorite served with rice. The sauce is great over the rice and the chops!

Ingredients

  • Pork Chops (Thick, Trimmed of all Fat)6
  • Dijon Mustard2 Teaspoons
  • Flour1/2 Cup
  • Butter (Melted)3 Tablespoons
  • Chicken Broth1 Cup
  • Onions (Medium, Finely Sliced)2
  • To TasteSalt
  • To TastePepper
  • Sour Cream (Room Temperature)1 Cup

Instructions

Lightly spread each chop (both sides) with mustard and dip in flour. Melt butter in large skillet, add chops and brown on each side. Add broth, salt, pepper and onion; cover and simmer on very low heat until chops are tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Remove to heated platter and keep warm. Add sour cream to pan juices and stir until blended and heated through. Do not allow to boil. Pour over chops.
