French Bread Crisps

Ingredients
- French Bread (Day old, sliced thin)1 Loaf
- Butter (Melted in a pie plate)2 to 3 Sticks
- Garlic Salt---
- Italian Seasoning---
- Cookie Sheets2 or 3
Instructions
Dip one side of bread slices in butter and place on cookie sheets, butter side up, until entire loaf has been dipped.
Sprinkle with garlic salt and Italian seanoning to taste.
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Turn the oven off and leave in the oven one more hour.
Note:
1. You can also spread the bread with butter as you would a sandwich.
2. You can use garlic butter or olive oil, too.
3. Use spices of your choice: garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, salt, fennel, tarragon, oregano, etc. are examples.
Note: Slices should be quite thin - about 1/4 inch.
